Matt Parker is follower of Christ, a husband, a father, and a youth minister.  Matt is the lead author and manager of Youth Ministry Basics.  Matt has been in youth ministry for over 10 years and has been serving at Simpsonwood United Methodist Church in Norcross, GA, since 2001.  Matt is passionate about teenagers and enjoys leading young people into a relationship with Christ.  Matt met his wife, Michele, while attending LaGrange College.  They were married in May 2003 and have one daughter, Kayla, born in April 2007.  Matt is currently obtaining his Master of Divinity and Master of Arts in Youth Ministry from Asbury Seminary in Wilmore, KY.
